Baltic introduces Prismic

Kristian Haagen

Parisian micro brand Baltic impresses with another stunning collection, the Prismic.

The Prismic is a stylish watch with a 36 mm case inspired by classic "cocktail" watches. It's made with great attention to detail, featuring five distinct parts for different finishes and materials. The bezel, lugs, and caseback are precisely crafted from stainless steel, seamlessly fitting onto a Grade 5 titanium case with a subtle grainy finish. The bezel holds a double-dome sapphire with polished and brushed details for an elegant contrast.

The watch's dial embodies a modern dress watch style, blending various finishes for a sophisticated yet minimalist look. The guilloché dial is like a canvas, decorated with a brushed sector and polished indexes. At 6 o'clock, a small sub-counter with a textured dial is surrounded by a brushed steel ring for added design flair. The time is indicated by dauphine hands, featuring a brushed upper surface and polished chamfers, creating a play of depth and reflections.

Powering the Prismic is the precise Peseux 7001 calibre, a mechanical movement developed by the Swiss ETA manufacturer. Known for its durability and reliability, it provides a substantial 42-hour power reserve. The caseback is fitted with sapphire glass, offering a clear view of the meticulously decorated mechanism, showcasing the craftsmanship that defines this elegant timepiece.
