Following his striking red carpet appearances, Academy Award nominee and BAFTA winner Barry Keoghan has officially joined the OMEGA family as a new Friend of the Brand.
Known for his roles in “Saltburn,” “The Banshees of Inisherin,” and “The Killing of a Sacred Deer,” the actor recently showcased the Speedmaster Moonwatch Bi-Colour timepiece – a recent addition to the Swiss watchmaker’s collection.
Off-screen, Barry is celebrated for his expressive style, often complemented by his choice of OMEGA models. He has previously selected designs such as the Speedmaster ’57 and a 1930’s Lépine “Sideros” pocket watch, which he sported at this year’s Met Gala.
This time, the actor has opted for the iconic Speedmaster Moonwatch, renowned as perhaps the most famous chronograph on Earth and in space, having been part of every moon landing in history. The new Bi-Colour version features a stunning combination of stainless steel and 18K Moonshine™ Gold – OMEGA’s proprietary yellow gold alloy. The sun-brushed silvery dial is encircled by a black ceramic bezel with the iconic tachymeter scale in OMEGA Ceragold™, and the contrasting subdials are made in galvanic 18K Moonshine™ Gold.
The watch is worn on a bracelet with polished and brushed links and includes OMEGA’s patented comfort release adjustment system. Inside, it is powered by the exceptional Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861.
The bi-colour model worn by Barry Keoghan, along with another version in stainless steel and 18K Sedna™ Gold, is now available for purchase at selected OMEGA Boutiques.
