Blancpain Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet Phases de Lune

New Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet Phases de Lune: Eternal Movement Beyond Black

Blancpain proudly presents the Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet Phases de Lune, featuring a patented black ceramic case and bracelet. This elegant yet sporty watch showcases a vibrant sunray-brushed blue dial, offering a choice of ceramic, NATO, or sailcloth straps and adding dynamism to the Bathyscaphe line.

Originating from the iconic Fifty Fathoms diver’s watch launched in 1953, the Bathyscaphe line was introduced in 1956 for daily wear with a reduced diameter for versatility. The new model reaffirms its legacy with a blend of captivating colors and advanced ceramic technology.

The striking gradient blue dial contrasts with the black ceramic, exuding sophistication and luminosity. The high-tech ceramic material is highly durable, scratch-resistant, hypoallergenic, and 25% lighter than stainless steel. Experts meticulously finish each facet of the ceramic bracelet and case, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and practical comfort.

Powered by the 6654.P calibre, this model features a moon-phase complication, a silicon balance spring, and a 72-hour power reserve. Inspired by the original Fifty Fathoms, the unidirectional rotating bezel enhances diving safety with its bold black insert and grey Liquidmetal® contrast.

Renowned for its expertise in calendar complications, Blancpain's mastery is showcased in this model. The moon-phase complication, reintroduced in 1983, symbolizes the revival of mechanical watchmaking. The use of silicon technology enhances precision and resistance to magnetism, visible through a sapphire crystal case back.
