Bremont Creates Three Watches for the Spy Thriller Argylle

In collaboration with filmmaker Matthew Vaughn, Bremont presents three limited edition watches to celebrate Vaughn’s latest spy thriller, Argylle.

The film stars Bryce Dallas Howard as Elly Conway, a bestselling espionage novelist whose quiet life takes a dramatic turn as the plots of her books mirror real-life covert actions by a global spy syndicate.

Bremont and Matthew Vaughn share a historic relationship, collaborating on the first Kingsman film in 2014. For Argylle, Vaughn once again turned to Bremont to provide a variety of watch styles for key characters.

Each actor, including Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Bryan Cranston, John Cena, and Ariana DeBose, selected a Bremont watch suited to their character, enhancing the storytelling.

Inspired by the film, Bremont presents The Bremont x Argylle Limited Edition Watch Collection, featuring three unique timepieces reflecting the characters of Argylle, Aidan, and Elly. Each watch showcases decorated dial designs with the iconic Argylle diamond pattern.

The Argylle is an elegant steel dress watch based on the Bremont Solo 43. The polished stainless steel Trip-Tick® case with scratch-resistant DLC-treated barrel and push-down crown houses a 43mm GMT with a date function at 6 o’clock, a 56-hour power reserve, and a decorated rotor visible through the exhibition case back. Gold-plated indexes and hour/minute hands contrast elegantly against the black Argylle-patterned dial.

The Argylle Jet, based on the Bremont U-2, incorporates the robust 43mm design made for military use. Developed with Martin-Baker (MB), it features an anti-shock rubberized movement mount designed for MB's ejection program and added functionality. The high-performance Argylle Jet, executed in DLC-treated stainless steel with a trip-tick case construction and jet-black barrel, reflects the stealthy nature of the film's characters. The black Argylle-patterned dial, housing a 38-hour power reserve and a date function at 3 o’clock, is adorned with blue hour, minute, and seconds hands filled with vintage super-luminova. The second hand is tipped in vibrant yellow to complement the film’s color palette.

Contrastingly, the Elly is a vibrant edition of the Solo 34, featuring a polished stainless-steel trip-tick case with a DLC-treated case barrel and a leather strap in Argylle yellow. Blue hour and minute hands and a yellow, diamond-tipped seconds hand are filled with blue super-luminova, creating an elegant contrast against the white Argylle-decorated dial. The 34mm timepiece, revealing an exhibition case back, carries a 50-hour power reserve and a date function at 6 o’clock.

The Argylle collection is available from February 2024 in Bremont boutiques, on Bremont.com, and through selected retailers.
