British watchmaker Peter Speake and Geneva-based Frederique Constant unveil an exceptional timepiece for 2024, a 42mm steel-cased Perpetual Calendar in their Manufacture collection. Achieving a subtle balance between style and technical prowess, the openwork design elegantly showcases the inner workings of the precise and precious Manufacture Perpetual Calendar.
The 42 mm Slimline Perpetual Calendar, manufactured and Designed by Peter Speake, is defined by one word: 'openwork.' The British watchmaker has infused an ethereal, contemporary touch to Frederique Constant, removing solid surfaces to unveil the inner workings of the Manufacture movement.
Skeletonized displays, luminous-coated hands, and the absence of a seconds hand showcase the mechanical ballet of the self-winding FC-775 calibre.
Limited to just 135 pieces, it's a contemporary creation continuing the close collaboration between Frederique Constant and Peter Speake.
