Hublot introduces Big Bang Unico All Black Schloss Shauenstein

Hublot and Andreas Caminada's Castle of Schauenstein celebrate 20 years with the special edition Big Bang Unico All Black Schloss Shauenstein.

Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot and renowned chef Andreas Caminada proudly present a stunning timepiece celebrating two decades of culinary excellence at Schauenstein Castle. Introducing the limited-edition Big Bang Unico All Black Schloss Schauenstein, this watch embodies the fusion of haute horlogerie and culinary mastery.

Fine cuisine and haute horlogerie share meticulous craftsmanship and a passion for artistry. Precise timing, essential for chefs from ordering to plating, links Hublot to the culinary world. This connection has inspired remarkable collaborations, including the iconic Big Bang Unico Gourmet watch.

The Big Bang Unico All Black Schloss Schauenstein story began in 2004, when Hublot revolutionized watchmaking with "The Art of Fusion," blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative materials. Around the same time, Andreas Caminada earned Michelin stars for his innovative cuisine at Schauenstein Castle.

Over two decades, Hublot's groundbreaking creations, such as the Big Bang and Classic Fusion lines, have paralleled Caminada's culinary perfection. Their shared dedication led to a partnership in 2017, with Caminada joining the Hublot Family as a brand ambassador. Since then, Caminada has received numerous accolades and continues to redefine fine dining. This collaboration has culminated in a celebratory watch, a perfect tribute to such remarkable talent.

Schauenstein Castle is located in the village of Fürstenau, known as the smallest city in the world, in Switzerland’s Grisons canton. This enchanting setting embodies the 'Swissness Attitude' cherished by Hublot. Chef Andreas Caminada offers guests a culinary journey that mirrors Hublot's philosophy of perpetual exploration in crafting extraordinary pieces at the renowned triple Michelin-starred restaurant.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Schauenstein Castle and Caminada's culinary excellence, Hublot unveils the limited-edition Big Bang Unico All Black Schloss Schauenstein. This timepiece underscores Hublot’s dedication to distinction and excellence.

The watch, inspired by Caminada's signature style, features a 42mm microblasted black ceramic case, black plated titanium screws, a satin-finished titanium and rubber crown, and a black ceramic case back engraved with Schauenstein Castle. The matte black dial, adorned with Caminada's silver-toned logo, contrasts with black-plated titanium hands for enhanced legibility and style.

At its heart is the in-house Hublot HUB1280 self-winding chronograph movement. This refined Unico 2 calibre boasts a 72-hour power reserve, a skeletonized dial, and enhanced performance with five patents for improved assembly and architecture.

The watch comes in a presentation case with a black ceramic and titanium deployant buckle on a black rubber strap. Included are a signed booklet by Caminada, a custom-engraved knife, and a knife block, symbolizing precision and authenticity in both watchmaking and gastronomy.

Limited to just 20 pieces, the Big Bang Unico All Black Schloss Schauenstein epitomizes exclusivity and craftsmanship. Additionally, a unique piece featuring the Fundaziun Uccelin logo will be auctioned for charity during the AC Masters event on June 11th, offering collectors a rare opportunity to own an exceptional timepiece.
