Seiko Prospex in Black, Blue and Charcoal

Witness the evolution of a signature Prospex diver's watch, now boasting enhanced specifications for the ultimate exploration companion.

Since introducing Japan's inaugural diver's watch decades ago, Seiko has garnered global acclaim from professionals and enthusiasts for producing timepieces renowned for their safety, reliability, and user-friendliness.

The SPB143, unveiled in 2020, epitomizes this legacy with its water resistance up to 200m and an impressive 70-hour power reserve. Drawing inspiration from Seiko's iconic 62MAS diver's watch, it seamlessly blends vintage style with modern functionality.

Now, Seiko unveils a lineup in the Prospex collection inspired by the beloved SPB143, boasting a myriad of technological, design, and construction enhancements. Joining the primary Prospex collection are black and blue dial variants, while a commemorative special edition with gold accents celebrates Seiko's 100th anniversary. Each watch houses the latest in-house movement, Caliber 6R55, boasting a robust 72-hour power reserve, a first for the Prospex collection.

Further elevating performance, the new watches boast an increased water resistance of 300m, a notable upgrade for Prospex's non-saturation diver's watches. A redesigned date window between four and five o'clock enhances symmetry and Lumibrite illumination, ensuring optimal legibility even in low-light conditions.

Despite these advancements, the watches maintain a compact profile with a diameter of 40mm, lug-to-lug length of 46.4mm, and thickness of 13mm. The stainless steel bezel features an aluminium insert for a sleek aesthetic, with laser-engraved minute markings and numerals to withstand extended wear. A redesigned bracelet with shorter links and a smaller clasp enhances comfort and ensures a snug fit on the wearer's wrist.

A third special edition with a charcoal-grey dial is introduced to celebrate Seiko's storied history and commitment to innovation. Adorned with gold accents, it pays homage to the brand's century-long legacy of horological excellence, epitomizing Seiko's ethos of always being one step ahead of the rest.
