Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix Self-winding

The Fiftysix collection, first introduced in 2018, is making a comeback, blending vintage and modern influences.

This new model features a 40mm pink gold case paired with a striking black dial and anthracite nubuck calfskin leather strap, offering a refined retro-contemporary look.

Drawing inspiration from the 1950s, particularly Vacheron Constantin's iconic Reference 6073 from 1956, the Fiftysix collection merges classic design elements with modern sophistication. The design also subtly incorporates the Maltese cross, Vacheron Constantin's emblem, across various pink gold or steel models, powered by self-winding movements with different complications.

This latest pink gold iteration showcases a bold contrast of gold, black, and anthracite. The 18K pink gold case features lugs reminiscent of the Maltese cross, framing a black dial with a dual finish—opaline in the center and sunburst on the chapter ring—highlighting the interplay of light and shadow. Pink gold Roman numerals and luminescent hour markers enhance legibility, while a box-type sapphire crystal adds a touch of vintage flair.

The watch is completed with an anthracite nubuck calfskin leather strap and ecru stitching, perfectly complementing its retro-modern aesthetic. The Calibre 1326 self-winding movement, visible through the sapphire case back, features Côtes de Genève finishing and an open-worked pink gold rotor adorned with the Maltese cross, a symbol of Vacheron Constantin’s nearly 270 years of watchmaking excellence.
